To raise funds for the biennial Festival Internacion de Artes Escénicas (which is next scheduled for 2012) the Fundación FAE has planned a program of events titled, “Camino al FAE 12″. The first event in the series will be a contemporary dance performance by the Mexican group, Realizando Ideas.  The dance is titled, “Antropía, Interferencias Escénicas del Cuerpo – Imagen”, and will be performed Friday, June 10 at 8pm in the National Theater.

Las Clementinas is finally opening their spectacular rooftop terrace to the public. Starting on June 16, the Café & Bar will be opening the rooftop for a weekly happy hour on Thursdays, from 6-8pm.  Each week will feature live music.  Clementinas has quite possibly the best view in the city from their rooftop terrace, overlooking the bay (photo below), Panama City skyline and with an unobstructed view of the sun setting behind Cerro Ancon (photo above).  Call Carlos Arenas at 228-7617 or email cafe@lasclementinas.com for reservations.
